Electricity Supply Industry Training Organisation

We currently have five Apprenticeships available in the Civil Construction Industry. Find out more about how you can kickstart your career with a New Zealand Apprenticeship.

Connexis also offers a comprehensive range of qualifications which recognise the skills and knowledge of people working in the infrastructure industry in Civil Construction, Energy, Telecommunications and 3Waters. These are developed in partnership with professional associations and technical experts to make sure they meet industry needs.

Qualifications range from level 2 to level 6, and are suitable for people working at all levels - from school leavers and people just entering the industry, through to supervisors and team leaders, professional/technical staff and senior managers.

Many qualifications are designed to be ‘stand-alone’, while others can be achieved as part of a structured career pathway and are linked to professional registration.

Further details can be found under Water QualificationsCivil QualificationsElectricity Supply Qualifications and Telecommunications Qualifications.

We are well aware of the ever changing nature of the infrastructure industry, and aim to develop qualifications which meet current and future needs. We are currently reviewing all of our qualifications to ensure they remain relevant and up to date, as part of the New Zealand Qualifications Authority's (NZQA) Targeted Review of Qualifications (TRoQ). Information on our latest reviews can be found under TRoQ.
